Transfering your website to Quixli.

Transfering your website to WordPress can be pretty easy! Just follow the instructions below or get the information directly from who ever is currently hosting your website or blog.
The WordPress Import/Export feature.
From Blogger to WordPress Website.
- You first must have a WordPress website installed and running (Hint: Quixli.com does this for you in minutes!) To export your blog, simply click Export Blog from the Settings Basic tab.
- Finally, click the Export Blog button. You blog will be stored as a Blogger export file (.xml) file which can be kept as a backup on your hard drive or imported into another blog.

Moving from hosted WordPress.com blog to your new WordPress site.
- Login to your hosted WordPress blog and find the Export under Tools > Export. this will download an XML file of all your posts.
- On your new WordPress Site go to Tools> Import> Scroll down to the last one on the list of imports and choose WordPress Option.
- Simply find your file and click upload, Done!
Moving your static website to WordPress
Unfortunately the only real way to get your static site into WordPress is the old copy and paste method. You will have to create each page within WordPress and then copy the content from the old page into the editor and save it. If you need more help just email us @support.
Making a complete copy of your web site from your existing web host
Use your favorite FTP utility (we use FILEZILLA), to download all files to your computer from your web host. Don’t assume you already have all the files on your computer.
- If you are using Dreamweaver, use the GET command to copy all your files.
